Rules for creating events

Fotop is a tool that allows photographers to sell their photos in a practical way. There are several events available to photograph and countless events that partner photographers can create on the platform.

With improvements in mind, we changed some rules for publishing events, with the aim of making the platform safer and ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to participate and create events.

COMMISSIONS AND PARTNERSHIPS

Can I change the commission for the event I created?

  • Changes to the commission offered to photographers will only be permitted for events in partnership with the organizer.
  • The organizer must accept the invitation for the change in the commission to be released.

    Our team will verify the authenticity of the organizers' registration, if a false registration is revealed, the accounts of both the organizer and the partner will be canceled and all photos published by the partner will be deleted.

    Any amount pending receipt will only be transferred after 60 days of account cancellation.

  • Organizers who manage their own events can publish events and change commissions as long as the account is authenticated by Fotop.
  • Events that are published only on the partner's website, without publicity on Fotop, can change commissions and publish vacancies without restriction (Except for events already created by Fotop Eventos profiles, Fotop Marketplace, or partner events with partnership.)

Can I create an event without participating as a photographer?

  • The partner who registers an event without a partnership must attend and photograph the event.
    In case of successive non-compliance, we will limit the partner's account, who will be able to continue to participate in available events, but they will no longer be allowed to create events on the platform.
  • In partnership events, only event management can be carried out; presence as a photographer is not mandatory.

When can I register an event?

  • Events without partnerships will only be published two months before the event date.
  • Partnership events in which the organizer accepted an invitation or events created by organizers can be published without date restrictions.


DUPLICATE EVENTS

Can I register any event on the platform?

  • For large events where there is duplication of the event on the platform, Fotop will carry out an assessment and may take over the management of the event if necessary.
  • If Fotop decides to take over an event due to duplication, the duplicate events will be removed and a new event will be published on the platform.

My event was duplicated after the event. What can I do?

  • If the event is duplicated after the date, the oldest event will remain on the Fotop page and the most recent will only be available on the website of the partner who duplicated the event.

In which cases can events created on the platform be deleted?

  • Events in which Fotop Eventos or other partners have an exclusive partnership, duplicate events will be removed. It is the responsibility of the partner who entered into a partnership with the organizer to notify Fotop so that the event can be removed.
  • Fotop reserves the right to remove any event if requested by the event organizer.
