Tutorial - Prepare Photos for Upload

To upload your images to our platform, 4 criteria must be met:
-The longest side of the images must be a minimum of 3000px and a maximum of 6000px .
-The name of images within the same event must be unique, different images with the same name will be replaced.
-File names cannot contain special characters such as: ç ´ ~ ! @
-The size in megabytes of the file cannot be greater than 4mb .

If you don't have access to the Adobe Suite, there are many software programs that can perform the necessary tasks to adapt your images.

We will show you how to perform the necessary tasks using the free XnConvert Software, highlighting that we have no affiliation with the developers and do not provide support for this program, we only suggest its use.

You can get XnConvert here , it is available for PC, Mac and Linux.

When opening the program, it is divided into tabs.
Drag your images to the blank area, use the "Add Files..." or "Add Folder" buttons to upload your images.



It can perform several different operations on images simultaneously, for our basic purpose add "Resize" action

Change the "Mode" setting to "Longest Side" and enter a value between 3000px and 6000px which is the range supported by our platform.


Go to the output tab, there are several important settings to be made.
Upon exit, the folder where the processed photos will be saved will be configured, we recommend a new folder, so you will not alter your original material.


File name, a dozen different rules can be introduced for specific purposes, the simplest way is to keep the original file name with the tag "{Filename}"
IMPORTANT: again we reinforce, do not send images with the same name at the same event .

In the "Options" section, we recommend using it as shown in the image.


In "Format", you will configure several image quality parameters, use "JPG - JPEG/JFIF" and the optional markings as shown in the image.


With everything configured, the last step is to click on "Convert" to start processing.





IMPORTANT: Check the size of the images individually and redo the process for images that exceed the 4mb limit, photos larger than this limit cannot be added to our platform .
