What is the Fotop Platinum benefit and how does it work?

What is Fotop Platinum?
Fotop Platinum is a benefit given to photographers with the highest revenue in the region where they operate most. Photographers in this group will have access to exclusive benefits (for the first time, early access to event vacancies that will be published on the Fotop Marketplace).
This group is updated monthly and photographers who will be in this group will receive a notice and their profile photo on the photographer's panel will have an indicative marking.
How does Fotop Platinum work?
Each partner's eligible revenue from the previous month is summed up monthly and those with the highest revenue become Platinum during the next month.
Billing is calculated on the first day of the month and refers to sales from the first to the last day of the previous month. For example, in December, photographers who received the Fotop Platinum benefit were those who had the highest revenue in November.
Eligible billing must follow the following rules, depending on the country:
- 🇧🇷 In Brazil
To calculate revenue, only sales by state and in events that were published on the Fotop Marketplace (fotop.com.br), which are in the running, cycling, trail, triathlon/duathlon and training categories, will be considered.
- 🇵🇹 In Portugal
To calculate revenue, sales across the country made at events published on the Fotop Marketplace (fotop.pt), in the running, cycling, trail, triathlon/duathlon and training categories, will be considered.
This sum will consider both the amounts earned from selling photos as a photographer (where the photographer only participates in the event), and the amounts earned from selling photos as owner of the event (if the photographer created an event that was published on the Fotop Marketplace ).
What are the advantages acquired through Fotop Platinum?
The first advantage this group will have is early access to part of the event vacancies available on the Fotop Marketplace. Important: the advantage will be applied to events that are published on the Fotop website, creating profiles Marketplace Fotop, Fotop Events and events created by partners that have a scheduled vacancy opening date.
How does early access to vacancies work?
50% of event spaces that have a scheduled opening date are eligible for early entry to Fotop Platinum members.
Fotop Platinum members will be able to access these vacancies 24 hours before the scheduled opening date.
Example: The Fotop Race event has a scheduled opening date of 12/02/2023 at 7:00 pm and has 200 places available. On 12/01/2023 at 7:00 pm, Fotop Platinum members will be able to enter up to 100 places in this event.
The scheduled vacancy opening date can be observed as follows:
If Fotop Platinum member photographers do not get their spot in advance, they can still try to join on the opening date of spots with the other photographers who are not part of the group.
IMPORTANT: If the photographer who has the Fotop Platinum benefit is under a punishment that prevents him from entering new events within a certain period of time, the punishment is maintained and the photographer is unable to enter new events either in advance or on the date vacancy opening official.
It is also important to inform that the Fotop Platinum benefit is individual and non-transferable. It is strictly prohibited to assign, transfer or sell your place to third parties, under penalty of expulsion from the Fotop platform. If you cannot attend the event, leave it more than 1 day in advance to avoid penalties and allow another photographer to take your place.
This is the first stage of the Fotop Platinum project and soon the Fotop Team plans to add more advantages to photographers who have the benefit.
